1. Zebra Mask Crafts

Required materials:

  • Zebra coloring page
  • Cardstock or thick paper
  • Scissors
  • Glue or tape
  • Hole punch
  • Elastic string
  • Mark or crayon

step:

  1. First print your favorite zebra coloring page on regular paper. Use crayons or markers to color them. Urge them to be creative; maybe add pink or blue stripes if they wish to have unique zebras.
  2. After coloring, carefully cut the zebra’s face. If your child is young, you may need to help with scissors. Mike was always anxious to cut, so I continued to monitor him closely.
  3. To strengthen the zebra’s face, stick it to a piece of card stock. Let it dry completely before continuing on to the next stage.
  4. Now cut out the eye hole carefully. Usually, I will help Lisa and Mike because this section can be challenging and make sure the holes are in the right place.
  5. Use holes to drill holes to make two holes on both sides of the mask. Thread elastic strings and then knot at the end. Change the length to make your child’s head fit comfortably.
  6. Once everything is ready, let your kids dress up as wild zebras and have fun. Although I often tell Mike that the Zebra doesn’t roar, he likes roaring!

Smart Tips: If your kids love to dress up, use this mask with zebra striped clothes to create a complete safari outfit. Lisa looks great after matching her black and white striped dress. For more interesting outfit ideas, visit National Geographic Children.
